As we celebrate a decade of impact, we are proud to highlight the meaningful work made possible through the generosity of supporters like you. Over the past 10 years, the Mary Quinn’s Mark Foundation has advanced inclusion across Long Island through programs, partnerships, and community initiatives such as:

Creating Spaces Where Everyone Belongs

At the Mary Quinn’s Mark Foundation, inclusion is not just a concept, it’s something you can see, feel, and experience.

  • Mary’s Garden Playscape (Floral Park) — What was once an idea has become a vibrant, sensory-rich space where children of all abilities play side by side. Designed with accessibility and STEM in mind, Mary’s Garden is more than a playground, it’s a place where friendships are formed, barriers are broken, and families gather. We continue to maintain and grow this space, welcoming schools, families, and the community every day.

  • Mary’s Backyard (Rockville Centre, NY) — Built through community partnership and love, this inclusive outdoor space offers a safe and joyful place for children and families to connect, play, and simply belong.

Building Confidence, Connection & Opportunity

Our programs are designed to create real opportunities for growth, independence, and meaningful relationships.

  • MQM Crafting Class — Each week, participants come together not just to create, but to connect. These sessions foster creativity, build friendships, and create a true sense of community.

  • MOST Program (Molloy Opportunity for Successful Transition) — In partnership with Molloy University, this three-year program has opened doors that once felt out of reach for young adults with developmental disabilities.

    • With over 7 cohorts and growing, students gain academic, social, and career skills—while experiencing college life in a fully inclusive environment.

    • MQM remains deeply involved, supporting everything from curriculum and research to social events and alumni programming—ensuring that students continue to thrive long after completion.

  • Yoga & Fitness — These weekly classes offer more than movement they provide confidence, self-expression, and a sense of belonging on a college campus where every individual is valued.

  • MOST Music Program — Students prepare and perform in the annual Unity Through Diversity Concert, giving them a stage, a voice, and a moment to shine.

Moments That Matter for Families

We create and fully fund experiences that families often never thought would be accessible to them.

  • Inclusive Field Trips — For many students, these are the first opportunities to fully participate in hands-on learning experiences designed specifically for their success complete with communication supports and individualized strategies.

  • Inclusive Day at St. Mary’s Children’s Hospital — A day filled with joy, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Families come together to enjoy a fully sponsored carnival experience—games, music, a petting zoo, face painting, and more—creating moments of pure happiness in a setting where it is deeply needed.

  • Inclusive Fall Festivals —these celebrations bring people together, creating traditions where every child and every family feels welcome.

Advocating for a More Inclusive World

Everything we do is grounded in one belief: inclusion is a right, not a privilege.

  • We provide free trainings for families and professionals on topics like OPWDD services, behavior support, speech and AAC, and inclusive practices and empowering others to create change.

  • We collaborate with legislators and advocacy groups to expand access and opportunity.

  • Each year, we provide direct support to families by funding critical needs such as medical equipment, accessibility modifications, and essential resources, so their loved ones can fully participate in everyday life.

Because of supporters like you, we are not just creating programs we are changing lives, building community, and ensuring that every individual has a place where they truly belong.
