What exactly is a ‘Playscape’?
A ‘Playscape’ acts as an outdoor classroom increasing the quantity and quality of outdoor experiences for children in educational programs.
A ‘Playscape’ supports children’s learning in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), as well as language/literacy, the arts and social/emotional development.
A ‘Playscape’ includes the use of all of the visitors senses.
